A different way to explore Casablanca
Sport is part of Casablanca’s DNA. It shapes entire neighborhoods, builds strong identities, brings people together, and sometimes sets them apart. Casablanca Sports Quest starts from this reality to tell the story of the city in a new way, highlighting places, stories, and figures often missing from traditional routes.
The game invites you to look differently at familiar spaces: a stadium becomes a place of memory, a street tells a collective epic, a neighborhood reveals its role in the city’s sporting history.

Casablanca Sports Quest is played online, using a smartphone or a tablet. Players are guided through a series of questions, challenges, and riddles related to sport in Casablanca. Some questions test knowledge, while others encourage observation, curiosity, and on-the-ground exploration.
The game can be played solo or in a group, on site or remotely. It is designed for both Casablanca locals and visitors who want to understand the city through the lens of sport.
Casablanca Sports Quest a été pensé pour être accessible à un large public, y compris à des personnes qui ne connaissent pas l’histoire du sport marocain. Les contenus sont pédagogiques sans être scolaires, ludiques sans être simplistes.
The game is suitable for individual use as well as collective activities, such as cultural outings, events, heritage mediation programs, urban tourism experiences, or educational activities.
A project led by CitizOn and the SMIT
Casablanca Sports Quest est un projet conçu et porté par CitizOn, en collaboration avec la Société Marocaine d’Ingénierie Touristique (SMIT). Il s’inscrit dans une dynamique d’innovation culturelle et touristique visant à renouveler les formes de médiation du patrimoine urbain marocain, en s’appuyant sur le jeu, l’interactivité et les usages numériques.
Through this project, CitizOn and the SMIT share a common ambition: to create experiences that are accessible, engaging, and intellectually rigorous, capable of reaching a wide audience while highlighting lesser-known aspects of heritage, such as the sporting history of Casablanca. Casablanca Sports Quest illustrates a commitment to developing innovative formats that enhance the attractiveness of Moroccan cities while encouraging active engagement with their collective memory and urban narratives.
The project also reflects the importance of collaboration between cultural actors, public institutions, and entrepreneurial initiatives in imagining new uses of heritage, rooted in local contexts and adapted to today’s audiences.
